Close Protection Course

A Close Protection driver needs to be highly skilled and knowledgeable on all aspects of driving and risk awareness, including everything from driver awareness and risk management skills through to evasive and anti-terrorist driving techniques. You’ll also need basic chauffeur skills for your day-to-day duties.

Our Close Protection Driving course covers all these required skills, including driving in hostile environments and driving in the UK, where many of the driving techniques need to be adapted in order to remain within the law. It will enable you to transport the principal and your team with safety and security in mind. Chauffeuring procedures and etiquette are equally as important and you will be guided through the various aspects of these skills.

Advanced Tactical Driving Course

Driving Academy Global’s four-day Advanced Tactical Driving Course has been devised to enhance the essential driving skills of Close Protection (CP) Operatives deploying to hostile or hazardous environments. It will allow them to operate more effectively in protecting the security of themselves and their clients, and uses our wide range of training facilities and vehicles to familiarise students with the various vehicle types that they can expect to drive on operations.

At the end of the course there is a mobile team practical assessment and final exercise, conducted by Driving Academy’s experienced military instructors, followed by a comprehensive de-briefing, assessment and written tutorial.
